The Château des Poccards, which is a perfect replica of a Palladian villa, was built at the beginning of the 19th century by the Viscount of Malartic (the title dates back to the first crusades) as a compliment to his wife's Tuscany origins. You will discover two magnificent drawing-rooms: the first has a marble fireplace and an exceptional inlaid wood floor, whereas the second is in traditional Tuscany style, with an imposing fireplace in sculpted oak; both are propitious to relaxation and are ideal for reading. The bedrooms on the second landing of the stone staircase all have high ceilings, and terracotta floor tiles, and feature fireplaces, antique carpets and are decorated with materials from the mills of Lyon. The mansion is ideally located for guests who wish to discover the architectural and culinary treasures of the southern Bourgogne region.
Leisure Activites : Glass-fibre swimming-pool (16m), deck-chairs, hot-air ballooning.
Five bedrooms: "Chambre Jaune", "Chambre Baroque", "Chambre Napoléon III", "Chambre Louis XV" and "Chambre Coloniale". All feature en-suite bathrooms and double beds. Breakfast: fresh orange juice, home-made cupcakes, organic jams, butter and honey... Two drawing-rooms. The verandas have teak furniture.
